Engagement Photography in Victoria, BC: Daniel & Kathleen at St. Ann’s Academy and Beacon Hill Park
Daniel and Kathleen’s engagement session took place in two of Victoria’s most iconic and romantic photography locations: St. Ann’s Academy and Beacon Hill Park. With their wedding coming up at St. Andrew’s Cathedral and a classic reception at the Union Club of British Columbia, this couple’s love story is rooted in tradition, elegance, and timeless charm.

We started their Victoria engagement photoshoot at St. Ann’s Academy, a peaceful heritage site in the heart of the city. The soft, natural light streaming through historic windows gave their portraits a quiet, reverent feel—perfect for a couple planning a Catholic wedding in one of Victoria’s most historic churches.
Then we made our way to Beacon Hill Park where the spring daffodils were in bloom. The Garry oak meadow was lush and vibrant, and the light filtering through the trees made it the perfect backdrop for romantic, candid moments. As a Victoria engagement photographer, I’m always drawn to this spot for its natural beauty and quiet intimacy.

Kathleen’s joy was radiant, and Daniel’s calm steadiness was so grounding—photographing them was effortless. Their chemistry, paired with the stunning natural surroundings, made this session one I’ll always remember.
I can’t wait to photograph their wedding day next spring at St. Andrew’s Cathedral, followed by a celebration at the elegant Union Club of Victoria.
