My name is Andrea Collins

I photograph families, couples, and milestones with one question always in mind:

How quickly will this version of them become something you miss?

I’m a wife, a mother, and a photographer based in Victoria, BC.

I live a very ordinary, very full life — school drop-offs, laundry piles, church on Sundays, long walks, and the quiet awareness that time moves faster than we expect.

That awareness is what led me here.

Why I Do This Work


I became a photographer because I understand how quickly time passes.


Children grow up faster than we expect.

Parents age.

Families change.


Years from now, photographs are often what remain — a way to remember who we were, who we loved, and the life we shared together.


My grandmother is 96 years old. Her home is filled with family photographs, spanning several generations. Those pictures are not just decorations. They tell a story. They remind us where we come from.


That is the kind of photography I aim to create.

A Faith-Centered Approach


My Catholic faith is an important part of my life and my work.


I approach Catholic weddings, baptisms, and other sacraments with reverence and respect for the Church and its traditions. Marriage is not just an event — it is a sacrament. Family life is sacred.


Whether I am photographing a wedding Mass or a family session, I work quietly and thoughtfully, mindful of the moment and the people involved.

My sessions are relaxed and well organized.


I provide gentle guidance without forcing stiff or unnatural poses. Children are encouraged to be themselves. I allow time for real moments to unfold naturally.
